Overview

Everyday more and more young people are going online to make new friends and seek information. Even more teens are resorting to late night chats and joining communities that drag them into various rackets. In the process they become victims to various cyber crimes by hackers and potential criminals. The Goal of YCCA program is to create awareness among the youth to practice safe surfing and avoid being a victim of Cyber crime.

The Program teaches how to chose friends with care, how to not reveal too much about themselves thereby endangering privacy, and how protect their email, credit cards and bank accounts from being compromised. Spanned over two weeks, the program gives an overview of threats and countermeasures and also creates awareness of Cyber laws to young minds.

12 Privacy: Hiding your IP on Net and Safe surfing methods
