What is eUniversity?
eUniversity is an orchidseven initiative to create professionals in information security who have hands-on experience in hard-core hacking and IT governance backed by a strong emphasis on Research.

What all courses are offered by you?
Presently we offer a post graduate program – CMIS, which has been designed keeping the industry requirements in mind. CMIS is spread across three levels (semesters) of six months each. Each level can be pursued independently.
  1. Certified Information Security Expert
  2. Certified Secure Software Developer
Each level is specific to the industry and it collectively leads to a CMIS certification.

Are any of your programs UGC Approved?
No. Orchidseven Is an independent Certification body and none of the programs are endorsed by UGC in any way.

Who can apply?
All graduates from any streams can apply. First preference will be given to computer science graduates and engineers.

What is the duration?
Each semester of CMIS is divided in two parts
  1. Training – Four months
  2. Research - Two months
The entire CMIS track can be pursued in one year including four months of independent full-time research.

What is the mode of learning?
CMIS is completely pursued online!

What is the exam methodology?
Every certification has an online and LAB exam to it.

What is the credit point system?
CMIS requires a total of 500 credits out of 750.

Is there any job guarantee?
No. There is nothing like a job guarantee. We will train you in the best subjects in information security and provide assistance for placements. We do have job offer letters for CMIS students from a number of companies, but merit, talent and good communication skills are some of the criteria for selection.

What if I do not complete my research work?
Research work of two months out of six months course per semester of CMIS is mandatory and is a required component to successfully get certified in the program
